This picture was taken after 3 days of rain. The lighter patch of this concrete driveway in Sydney was treated with Fortifier Plus™ approx. 2 years prior to this picture.
Only a few minutes after the rain stopped the sealed area looked dry as the sealer had created a deep water-repellent barrier which stopped the water soaking into the concrete in that area. It took a few hours for the rest of the driveway to dry out.
Significance: Most people only think about stain protection, but the reality is that stains are the least permanent and easiest form of liquid damage to deal with. The deep water repellent barrier created by Chemforce™ Modified Silane Impregnators not only provide stain repellence, but also stop water ingress which hinders mould growth and provides protection again picture framing, efflorescence and salt spalling.
